iRobot launches the Braava floor mopping robot

  • Hey friends I guess you can say that technology has certainly made our lives a whole lot easier over the years. Imagine if you had to iron your clothes the old fashioned way, it would have taken you a whole lot longer to go through a pile of shirts than with today’s steam irons with Teflon-coated undersides that make them glide over your clothes as though you were an ice skater performing an Olympic routine. The vacuum cleaner is another home appliance that has definitely gotten a whole lot smarter, and iRobot has been at the forefront for quite some time now. Their latest device is known as the iRobot Braava Floor Mopping Robot which will arrive in Braava 320 and Braava 380t models.

  • I’ve done a fair amount of traveling for business, occasionally with a colleague or two. When you’re on-location covering an event with a colleague, there comes a point when you may need to share information. Specifically things like pictures and video. So what’s the best way to do this? Well, you can transfer them to a flash drive (if they’ll all fit) and then hand it over, and then let them download them from there. But wouldn’t it be better if you could quickly and easily make a wireless network?

  • Now that hardware manufacturers have more or less figured out a way to roll out devices that are thin and svelte, looking sharp from all angles, it is about time to up the ante – and this is achieved through the waterproofing of a particular device. Pyle Audio has already ventured into this particular area, introducing the SurfSound-TALK Bluetooth waterproof speaker and handset, which so happens to be a lightweight and user-friendly Bluetooth speaker/handset.

Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse has unprecedented battery life.

  • No two gaming mice are alike – ask any gamer, and they will tell you that. Some gamers prefer something simple, especially when you have bound all your keys to different weapons, that all you need to do with your mouse would be to fire your primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and to move with unparalleled precision. Well, some other gamers like something a little bit – nay, a whole lot more complicated, and the more bells and whistles, the better. I suppose the Logitech G602 wireless gaming mouse would be the ideal gaming peripheral in this case as it is also a “marathon runner” in a sense where it boasts over eight times the battery life compared to other wireless gaming mice. We are talking about a serious 250 hours of non-stop gaming action here, all without having to compromise its gaming grade sensor or connection performance.

iblazr adds a powerful flash to your smartphone

  • I have a pretty nice DSLR that I use when I want to get great shots of something. However, more often than not, most pictures I take are with my phone. The reason is because I always have the phone with me, and I can usually get a decent shot in just a few seconds. However, the biggest issue that I run into is poor lighting. Sure, there’s an LED flash built into the phone, but half the time it does more harm than good. But what if there was a small, external flash that you could use with your smartphone?
The iblazr is a simple flash for any smartphone that will have a pretty decent impact on the quality of your photography. Using 4 special LEDs, and the companion app, you’re able to get just the right amount of light for your shot. The app lets you adjust the brightness, and then syncs up the flash with your camera’s shutter. If you’re shooting video, you can just set it to continuously provide light.

The nice thing about this gadget is that it has more than just a single use. If you opt to pay a little extra for the cold shoe mount, it can work as a small flash your DSLR. You’re also able to use it as a flashlight, reading light, or desk light, with the included charging cable, and the internal battery. You can pick yours up by backing the already-funded Kickstarter project, and have it sometime in December of this year. If you want just the light, it will only cost you $39, if you want the cold shoe mount, it will cost you an extra $8.
